The present general conditions of sale are described below in order to inform the clients/users of the structures, the rooms and the domain, of the conditions under which the reservations, packages, gift vouchers, small + can be reserved, used, modified or cancelled by the clients of DREAM ARABESQUE LDA for the sign / guest house "the Venus of Lisbon".
In the event of a dispute, the owners may enter into negotiations with the client in order to find an amicable solution, which will always be preferred.
In case of non compromise, the Portuguese law will be applied and the competent courts will be seized.
Insurance liability / General / All publics
Our establishment is for adults only. Children are not accepted.
Guests of the Venus de Lisboa should check prior to their stay that they have comprehensive insurance for themselves, their spouse or partner, or others.
Pets are not allowed on the property (service animals only).
The Venus de Lisboa rents the premises in the state they are in, and declines all responsibility in the event of personal injury, linked to accidents that may occur in the park or in the common areas, for themselves or for another person, as well as for any damage that they may have caused, voluntarily or not.
Receptions, private parties, meetings, garden parties, etc. must be covered by individual all-risk insurance for the number of people invited.
The activities of relaxation, sport or meditation are given voluntarily and free of charge, it is up to the clients to adapt their participation to their physical capacities.
The Venus de Lisboa declines all responsibility in case of theft in the rooms (which must be locked by the occupants in their absence), in the common areas or in the cars of the two private car parks provided free of charge.
Rooms/ Common areas
Use
The rooms and the common areas (bar and various rooms) are strictly non-smoking. Eating in the rooms is prohibited. It is forbidden to use massage oils in the rooms. Any offender will be subject to cleaning and non-rental penalties. It is forbidden to invite outsiders without the prior agreement of the owner.
Reservation of rooms
Reservations and payments for room rentals are made exclusively through our central reservation system on the internet. www.venus-de-lisbonne.com
Cancellations are free of charge up to 15 days before the beginning of the stay and can be postponed for a period of one year to another date according to our availability. This postponement will be made by telephone and notified by e-mail.
The amount of the stay is to be paid in full at the time of booking.
In the event of an air transport strike (flight cancellation), the stay will be reimbursed to the client in full without charge.
In the event of a major impediment (death, serious illness, etc.), the stay may be transferred to a third party or postponed for a period of one year.
In case of non-payment of the totality of the stay, of default or cancellation of the customer, the company Dream Arabesque LDA will apply the general conditions of K.BOOKING, our central reservation office.
Namely:
- 15 days or more before arrival: no charge
- Between 14 days and 5 days before arrival: 30% of the total amount of the stay
- Between 4 days and the day of arrival or no show: 100% of the amount of the first night
Refunds will be made within a maximum of 3 weeks after the date of notification of cancellation by the client.
No-shows do not entitle the guest to a refund.
The rooms are designed for couples, the reservation for a single person does not give right to any discount on the stay.
Total privatization of the quinta (10 people maximum)

Privatisation of the "Venus Gardens" or "Venus Salon" or Winter Garden.
( Private events)
The privatization of the "Jardins de Vénus" (outdoor space) or the "Salon de Vénus" or the "Jardin d'hiver" (indoor space) is only possible on request. We do not accept weddings, christenings or family gatherings with children in these two areas.

The Discovery / Romance / Escale / gift vouchers are gift vouchers to be offered. They are on sale on our website and can be combined with "small pleasures" which are also on sale on our website. Reservations can only be made by telephone and are subject to availability.
These stays can be cancelled or postponed according to the standard conditions of the "Room reservations".
Extras and Small Pleasures
Purchase and booking of packages
We advise you to book all our extras and "petits plaisirs" at the time of booking. Some extras can be added and paid for on the spot, but need to be organised and ordered before arrival to check availability. (Birthday cake, Valentine's menu, flowers, love box, etc...

Corporate gift vouchers
The "Company" gift vouchers are sold in packs of 5 or 10 stays.
They allow the employer to obtain a discount on the price. The packages purchased are given in the form of a "Gift Voucher" to employees who can use them every day of the year (except Saturdays, Valentine's Day, Easter, Christmas and New Year's Eve). Reservations can only be made by telephone according to our availability by giving the reservation number indicated on the gift voucher given by the employer.
These gift vouchers are not refundable.
Each gift voucher includes :
1 night in a themed room of your choice for two people
Breakfast for two people
Access to the heated swimming pool (from 1 April to 30 October).
Activities
All activities are free of charge and carried out on a voluntary basis. The Venus de Lisboa accepts no responsibility for any damage or injury to persons, whether caused by personal injury or by factors outside the park, garden, car park, swimming pool, structures, etc. It is the client's responsibility to check that they have third party insurance and if they do not, to take out their own.
